Recipes

Once in a blue moon someone asks for a recipe I’ve prepared for a dinner or event. That’s always nice, suggesting they enjoyed what I had prepared. But I’m always improvising, so giing someone a recipe is seldom as simple as copying a cdarsd, or a page from a book. At the receiving end, I have many recipes shared by other people that I truly enjoy, which means I might want to pass those ideas on to others, while giving credit to those generous friends who shared their knowledge and techniques. More urgently, I often lose track of where I left my written copy, or which computer filing system hides any notes.

Having built the website, I’ve realized this is a good central location to keep information that I need to access, and might be of interest to others. It’s evolving as my own personal cookbook of most-used recipes. The following index gives access to as many of those recipes as I have found time to document, archiving them in a way I can access information short of scribbled notes haphazardly filed in boxes and folders, and with a faint hope others would enjoy having access also. I’ve grouped them by general category, which means some recipes show up under more than one heading:
